Summer at Maranatha
Summer is always a great time to regroup and recharge. It is also a time to explore new activities, books, improve athletic abilities, and even sharpen some academic skills. At Maranatha we offer plenty of opportunities through our Summer Semester and Summer Reading programs.
Summer Semester
We are ready for summer 2023. Are you? Registration will be open starting January 9, 2023! As we continue to prepare for Summer Semester, we will add in new classes and courses, so check back to see what is new. This Summer of Wonder will be offer courses/activities for prekindergarten through Grade 12.

Summer Reading
Maranatha Christian Academy’s goal for the Summer Reading Program is to instill the love of reading and to expand students’ literacy by exposing them to great literature during the quiet days and evenings of summer. It is during this time, without the pressures of other homework, in which children and teens are able to continue to develop language skills and build vocabulary, while discovering the joy and satisfaction of reading great books.

Driver's Education
This 30-hour program will be conducted by a certified instructor from the A+ Driving School and will fulfill the state driver’s education requirement. The course will address the “how to” and “whys” of safe driving. The format of the class will be lecture and active discussion. After completion of the program, students will be able to set up and participate in behind the wheel sessions to meet the six hour state requirement.
