Christian educators professional development conference. October 19, 2023 (Thursday during MEA) 8:00 am - 1 pm $25/person, includes lunch
Maranatha Christian Academy is launching its first annual Christian Educators conference. For the inaugural year, we've invited guest speaker, Dr. Roger Erdvig, Director of Worldview Education with Summit Ministries and author of 'Beyond Biblical Integration'.
With the ever-changing landscape in education, we desire to connect Christian educators in Minnesota for the purpose of pursuing educational excellence for the Kingdom! We've created this conference to provide Biblical worldview training for all teams in Christian schools - including teachers, principals, coaches, admissions, development, and business personnel.
We are confident that Dr. Roger Erdvig will better equip Christian educators as he coaches us on how to transform our schools from a biblical integration approach into an immersive, biblical worldview environment.
We pray you will review the agenda and breakout sessions and join us this October.

Who is this conference for?
We've designed this conference to have relevant topics to nearly all functions within a school as well as those young educators that are just graduating and starting their career.
New and Experienced Teachers
Maybe you are a new graduate just getting ready to have your own classroom, or perhaps you've been teaching for years but are new to a Christian school, or maybe you've been teaching in a Christian school your entire career - this conference is for you! We've developed specific sessions to equip you with Biblical worldview integration in your classroom as well as when you are dealing with parents and students.
Plus if you are a new educator, we have some special resources just for you!
Heads, Principals, and Administrators
Leadership charged with the mission and strategy of the school. Administrators supporting teachers in the classrooms. As a bonus breakout, learn about establishing a robust teacher onboarding program from MCA's FIRST director. FIRST is a program designed to support new hires for the first 3 years of working at your school.
Business, Finance, Marketing, Admissions, HR
Every position in your organization is critical to carrying out the mission. Breakout sessions for these departments will focus on the unique challenges they experience in their role. Connect with other staff in Christian schools and learn from each other.
Support Staff (counselors, coaches etc)
Breakouts for staff that may not have their own classroom but certainly have connections with your students.
Are you an education major graduating soon and evaluating which path you would like to take? Join this conference to get a perspective on teaching in a Christian school where your faith and career connect. Network with other Christian schools as you begin your teaching career.
The cost of the conference is $25/person, which includes lunch on the day of the conference. Please complete this form with the numbers you wish to attend. We can send your school an invoice or after submitting the registration form, you have the option to pay online.
