At Maranatha, college doesn't begin after graduation. For many students, it begins long before with the opportunity to earn a two-year Associate of Arts (AA) degree while still in high school.
Through a full Advanced Placement catalog and an on-campus partnership with the University of Northwestern – St. Paul, students can graduate with dozens of transferable college credits, or leave with their AA degree in hand.
We believe that the strength, intellect, and knowledge our students gain are not meant for self-elevation, but are tools to be actively utilized in the service of others.
We do not view faith as an isolated subject, but as the comprehensive, driving worldview that compels our students to lead, serve, and impact their world for Christ.
Assigned to one of four Houses representing Christian Education, Character, Community, and Calling, students participate in year-long competitions, service initiatives, mentorship opportunities, and traditions that unite students across grade levels.
House membership provides students with opportunities to earn points through academics, attendance, service, leadership, and involvement while working together toward quarterly and annual championships.
Most importantly, the House System creates a sense of belonging, encourages meaningful relationships, and provides students with opportunities to grow as leaders while contributing to a thriving school community.
