Kindergarten Overview
Students are surrounded by teachers who know and love them, a safe campus, and a learning environment that prepares them for graduation into lower school.
Academics
Kindergartners have a deep joy for life, and we tap into that as they go about their academic day in math, reading, art, STEM, and more. Students also have PE and daily recess on our new playground and Inspire Field, so they have every chance to be kids and have fun.
Your child’s kindergarten teachers aren’t just experts; they’re role models who come alongside their students daily. Our teachers put in considerable time and effort to make sure each student is welcome and has a special place in their class.
A Love for Learning
We love the joy, energy, and passion that our kindergartners bring with them every day. We’ve built a kindergarten program made just for your child that makes sure they not only receive the academic knowledge and skills needed to be successful in lower school but that that is done in an environment where they are encouraged to embrace challenges, learn from failure, and have fun along the way.
Spiritual Growth
Kindergarten students attend weekly chapels, have a dedicated Bible class where they learn a Bible verse and sign for every letter of the alphabet, and are taught each subject from a Biblical worldview. Students showcase their Bible verse memory skills and signs at the end of the year during our Kindergarten graduation.
Service Learning
Kindergarteners have a genuine love for the people and world around them. We provide opportunities throughout the year for our kindergartners to be the hands and feet of Jesus as they reach out to our communities and help those in need. Kindergartners participate in a service project with the MN Humane Society and even write cards for Veteran’s Day and May Day for nursing home residents.
