All PreK students leaving with a special guest must be checked out through the Daily Connect app, in accordance with Minnesota statute. To sign a student in or out, you will need either your 4-digit code or have access to the Daily Connect app.
Please let the classroom teacher know whether you are taking your student for the rest of the day or whether your student will return to the classroom. If your student is returning, please sign them back by 12:45 pm so they are settled and ready for rest time.
All lower school students who have a special guest in attendance must be checked out from their classroom after the Lower School Performance (8:30–10 am). Special guests should let the teacher know if they plan on the student leaving the campus with them. If so, they will sign them out at that time to avoid the need to stop at student services or return to the classroom. Any student not checked out through this process must return to their classroom by 1 pm.
Parents/special guests will check out middle school students in the sanctuary at the conclusion of the Upper School Choir Performance, approximately at 12 pm. The adult checking out students will need to let the teacher know if the student will be leaving campus with them.
Need to check out before the Upper School Choir Performance (10:45 am)? A parent/guardian must fill out the dedicated Experience Maranatha Form. Please fill this form out at least a day in advance to help streamline the process and note that an adult will need to be present to check out the student at Student Services.
If, for any reason, a middle school student needs to be checked out past 12:30 pm, a parent or special guest will need to visit the grade appropriate classroom to check the student out.
Any student not checked out for the day will attend the Upper School Band Performance at 2 pm.
Please note: middle school students will not be released without an adult present to check them out and all must be accompanied by an adult for the day.
If any high school student needs to be released early, a parent or guardian must sign out their student by filling out the dedicated Experience Maranatha Form, indicating their approval. Please fill this form out at least a day in advance to help streamline the process.
Any high school student approved for early release (via the above-mentioned form) must report to the weight room to connect with the designated staff member before being allowed to leave class or campus. Students who do not verify their release will not be permitted to leave the campus.
Guests and their students are invited to enjoy one of the many food trucks and vendors available during Experience Maranatha. Because each vendor is its own entity, each will accept different forms of payment—check prior to ordering.
Lunch goes from 10:30 am–1:30 pm.
Guests are invited to park on both the north and south side of Maranatha/Living Word.
Street parking is also available, but DO NOT PARK IN OUR NEIGHBORING BUSINESSES.
Once parked, you can then make your way to the building and enter through most any door. Once inside, check-in at the LW Main Lobby.
As with any busy parking lot, please be patient and drive slowly.
