MS STEM & Engineering

At Maranatha, STEM isn't a single class. It’s a pathway students can explore and continue building on through high school.

From 3D modeling to building EV3 Mindstorm robots, students learn by designing, building, testing, and solving real-world problems, all while discovering the creativity and order woven into God’s creation.

LEGO Programming & Robotics (Grade 7–8)

Working collaboratively, students build and program Lego EV3 Mindstorms to navigate mazes and complete complex mission objectives using physical computing.

Rocketry (Grade 7–8)

Students investigate Newton's Laws of Motion by designing, building, and launching model rockets.

The course also features an in-depth study of Homer Hickam's novel Rocket Boys.
