In Early Ed, every question is an invitation. Through play-based learning and hands-on exploration, children discover that learning is a joy. These years form more than early readers and curious thinkers — they form children who feel secure, loved, and ready to grow. At Maranatha, that formation is intentional from day one, laying the groundwork for everything that follows. This is where the Maranatha journey begins.

Our early education program is built around the whole child—academically, relationally, and spiritually. Our intentional early literacy initiatives, foundational math concepts, and social-emotional development equip our youngest students to step into Lower School with confidence.
Our classrooms are dynamic environments where hands-on exploration drives intellectual growth. By integrating structured play, STEM activities, and creative arts, we foster critical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving skills in each student.
Faith isn't a separate subject at Maranatha. It shapes the entire rhythm of the classroom. Our students learn foundational biblical truths—most importantly, that they are uniquely created by God, endowed with purpose, and deeply loved. We plant the seeds of faith early, teaching them to look above to Christ, setting a spiritual foundation that will anchor them at Maranatha and carry them well beyond it.
Even in PreK, our students participate in age-appropriate service learning. Through simple acts of kindness, shared classroom responsibilities, and guided community-focused projects, we cultivate empathy. We show our youngest students how they can actively love and serve the people around them.

Communication, check-ins, and daily updates are managed through the Daily Connect app so you're always in the know.
Each day begins with the Morning Meeting—a few minutes to gather as a class, settle in, and look at what the day holds together.
From there, students move into Bible time, where a teacher opens the Bible and helps even the youngest learners understand who they are in Christ and how He sees them.

Math follows through the calendar, weather, and the kind of hands-on counting that makes numbers feel like discovery. Language arts weaves reading, phonics, and early writing through activities that feel more like play than instruction. A daily Read Aloud gives students a chance to listen deeply and retell what they heard building comprehension one story at a time.

This is one of MCA's most distinctive spaces: a rotating set of student-directed centers that include a STEM table, sensory tables, an art area, a climbing wall, and a library tree with a reading nook. Children choose, explore, and create.

PE, art, music, library, and STEM round out the week and set our program apart from a day-care center. Recess gives your child room to run, connect with friends, and develop through play.
By the time you pick up, your child has been greeted, grounded in faith, intellectually engaged, and reminded more than once that they are loved.
