We know that God has called each and every 6th grader to a unique position in the kingdom, and we use our annual Baker Retreat as a means to instill that into our students. We want them to know that they are not alone, they are loved by God, and we’re all in this together.

This overnight field trip involves fun classes for students to take such as rock climbing, geocaching, and archery just to name a few.

This retreat has been a mainstay for our 6th graders not just to get together and have fun, but to also come closer to God in the process.

“It is an incredible time used as team building, getting closer to classmates, and enjoying God’s creation,” said Mrs. Dumire. “We had an amazing time of praise and worship. God showed up big time as we spent time worshiping together, and our principal led us in a powerful devotion on God’s love for us.”
