
At Maranatha, college doesn't begin after graduation. For many students, it begins long before with the opportunity to earn a two-year Associate of Arts (AA) degree while still in high school.
Through a full Advanced Placement catalog and an on-campus partnership with the University of Northwestern – St. Paul, students can graduate with dozens of transferable college credits, or leave with their AA degree in hand.

A full catalog of AP courses, available on campus and through Maranatha Christian Online, for students ready to take on college-level rigor.
Eligible juniors and seniors (3.0 GPA or higher) can take individual college courses on Maranatha's campus, earning both high school and college credit simultaneously.

In partnership with the University of Northwestern – St. Paul, students can complete a full AA degree (60 transferable college credits) without ever leaving campus.
Unlike many PSEO programs, we bring the professors to the students instead of the other way around.
Northwestern professors come to students right here on campus at MCA so that students can receive their college credit without ever having to deal with the hassles that come with typical PSEO programs.

The College and Career Center (CCC) is here to assist students along this journey by providing in-house support, guidance, and resources to help make sure the decisions students are making align with their passions and strengths, all while encouraging them to seek God’s guidance.

Absolutely. The CCC facilitates high school internships, mentorships, and job shadowing. These opportunities allow students to test out a career and gain firsthand experience in different fields before making long-term commitments.
Yes. Through our College Accelerator program, students can take on-campus Advanced Placement (AP) courses, utilize Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO), and even earn a full Associate of Arts (AA) degree before graduating high school
The CCC hosts targeted workshops and events designed to equip students for college admissions. These include College Fairs, a Common Application Workshop, College and Career Week, and on-campus visits from college representatives.
The CCC works with students in 6th through 12th grade using Naviance, a career readiness software. This tool uses personality and aptitude assessments to help students identify their unique strengths, skills, and interests.
The CCC provides dedicated, full-time support to guide students through life after high school. Staff members offer resources and guidance to help students make decisions that align with their passions and strengths while seeking God's direction.
Because of our rigorous academic preparation and College Accelerator opportunities, our graduates are consistently accepted into some of the nation's top institutions. Recent students have been accepted to and frequently enroll at a wide variety of prestigious private, state, and Christian universities across the country. These include Duke University, Grand Canyon University (GCU), Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Minnesota, Bethel University, and more.
