Being the Hands and Feet of Jesus

Being the hands and feet of Jesus means stepping out in faith and serving those around us. At Maranatha, one of the ways we live this out is through our annual Serve Day—a special time when our students and staff go out into the community to make a difference together.

From cleaning facilities to lending a helping hand wherever needed, our students embody what it means to serve with joy and purpose.

This year, our teams partnered with:

  • 6 churches
  • 3 food shelves
  • 1 cancer clinic

Each project was a reminder that even small acts of service can have a big impact when done in love. It’s so inspiring to see our students roll up their sleeves, step outside their comfort zones, and reflect Christ’s heart in such tangible ways.

We’re already looking ahead to Serve Day 2026, eager to build on what God has done and to make next year’s event even more impactful!

We realize, however, that serving isn’t just limited to one day. Throughout the year, our students will have ongoing opportunities to grow in their faith and live it out through weekly chapels, bonfire worship nights, and other special gatherings that encourage spiritual growth and community.

One of the most meaningful traditions at Maranatha is our annual baptisms where students publicly declare their faith in Jesus. Watching them take that step of obedience and boldly proclaim Him as King in front of their peers is a deeply moving experience and a powerful testament to God’s work in their lives.

At Maranatha Christian Academy, our mission goes far beyond academics—it’s about shaping hearts that serve, worship, and follow Christ wherever He leads.
