Teacher Feature: Mrs. Shoup & Ms. Block

Weekly Teacher Feature

This week, we’re highlighting two incredible members of our MCA team: Mrs. Andrea Shoup and Ms. Rachel Block.

Mrs. Andrea Shoup serves as our Upper School Counselor and is deeply loved by both students and staff. She creates a warm, welcoming environment for anyone who walks through her door. Despite working with students from 5th through 12th grade, Andrea is intentional about forming personal, meaningful relationships with each one.

Ms. Rachel Block wears many hats—she’s our Interior Design teacher, Registrar, and Data Steward. A proud MCA alum (Class of 2000), Rachel now has three children attending Maranatha. Her heart for students shines through in everything she does, as she supports their spiritual, emotional, and academic growth.

Both of these women make Maranatha a better place each day through their presence, dedication, and love for our students.
