Honors, coursework, STEM, and a wide range of electives give students the opportunity to discover interests and build the academic confidence that prepares them for High School rigor.

The middle school years are full of shifts—in friendships, influences, and sense of self. Maranatha meets students where they arem with mentors who know them by name and a community that sees more in your student than they may see in themselves.

The academic work here is intentionally designed for this moment when students are ready to go deeper and think for themselves.
Honors, coursework, STEM, and a wide range of electives give students the opportunity to discover interests and build the academic confidence that prepares them for High School rigor.
Students are equipped to ask hard questions—moving from a borrowed faith to a personal conviction they can hold up in the real world.
Our weekly Character Hour creates dedicated space for students to be known beyond the classroom—connecting with trusted adults around faith, identity, and what it means to grow in character during one of life's most formative seasons.

Maranatha's Middle School Fine Arts program is all about students learning about the joy that can be had in the world of visual and performing arts through courses spanning across band, choir, theater, and specialized studio art classes.
MS Fine Arts gives students the space to develop their unique, God-given gifts through things like hands-on learning and live performance opportunities.

Maranatha formally recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, and who have a servant's heart.
We celebrate the hard work and Christ-like character of our students through things like quarterly honor rolls, academic trophies, and National Junior Honor Society recognition.

Assigned to one of four Houses representing Christian Education, Character, Community, and Calling, students participate in year-long competitions, service initiatives, mentorship opportunities, and traditions that unite students across grade levels.
House membership provides students with opportunities to earn points through academics, attendance, service, leadership, and involvement while working together toward quarterly and annual championships.
Most importantly, the House System creates a sense of belonging, encourages meaningful relationships, and provides students with opportunities to grow as leaders while contributing to a thriving school community.
