Athena Award Applications Due

Dear MCA Senior Student-Athlete,

Every year the Minneapolis Athena Award Committee asks each school to select an outstanding female athlete based on excellence in individual sports or for participation and accomplishments in
team sports. The Athena Award is heavily based on athletic accomplishments, with academic and other achievements being secondary. If you are interested in being considered for this award and representing Maranatha Christian Academy at the Athena Award banquet,
please complete and submit the attached application to [email protected] and
[email protected] by the end of
the day on Thursday, March 6, 2025. All applications must be submitted electronically as a Word doc or docx, along with two to three high-resolution action photos and an athlete headshot.

Maranatha’s Executive Committee will review all nominations and vote. Nominees will receive an email on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, with the results and the winner will be announced.
