Checking Out Students

Checking Out Students

Lower School

All Lower School students who have a special guest in attendance must be checked out from their classroom after the Lower School Production (8:30-9:30 a.m.). Special guests should let the teacher know if they plan on the student leaving the campus with them. If so, they will sign them out at that time to avoid the need to stop at student services or return to the classroom. Any student not checked out through this process must return to their classroom by 1:30 p.m.

Middle School

Special guests will check out Middle School students from the sanctuary after the Upper School Choir Performance (10:30-11:45 a.m.). Teachers will be present to assist in this process. Special guests can let the teacher know if they plan on having the student leave the campus with them. Any student not checked out for the day will attend the Upper School Band Performance starting at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary.

If, for any reason, a Middle School student needs to be checked out before the Upper School Choir Performance, a parent or guardian must fill out the dedicated Experience Maranatha Form, indicating their approval. Please fill out this form at least a day in advance to help streamline the process.

An adult must accompany all Middle School students throughout the day. If they do not have a special guest in attendance, they will enjoy Experience Maranatha with a staff member and other students who do not have a guest present.

Where to Park

Where to Park

Experience Maranatha is one of the biggest events hosted in our building. As such, parking can be a bit challenging. Please note, that the Northeast Lot (Outside of Door 2), will be closed to make room for our Food Trucks.

Guests are invited to park on both the north and south side of Maranatha/Living Word. Street parking is also available. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN OUR NEIGHBORING BUSINESSES.

Once parked, guests can make their way into the building and enter through most any door. Once inside, please check-in at the LW Main Lobby.

As with any busy parking lot, please be patient and drive slowly.

Is Lunch Provided?

What's For Lunch?

If a Lower School or Middle School child does not have a guest present, a staff member will be assigned to be with them during the day. It is best if they bring a bag lunch to enjoy. If the student brings cash, the staff member will try to accommodate with purchasing lunch from one of our vendors.
